Lema Labs (Incubated at IIT Madras Incubation Cell) is conducting this program exclusively for students from class 7th to 12th. Kaizen Technology Program is exclusively for school students, which aims at teaching students the basics of Electronics, Arduino Programming to the latest emerging technologies with a very strong and fun hands-on experience by building Robots from scratch.

Intensive Training Program:
Their top trainers will conduct intensive hands-on learning sessions at IIT Madras Research Park. Students will be taught the basics of Electronics to Arduino Programming and Interfacing with hands-on learning to make more than 10 robots from scratch. All required resources such as components, resource booklets, software, etc will be provided to the students.

Day 2: Simple Line Follower Robot

Day 3: Edge Follower Robot
Basics of Arduino
Introduction to C Programming
Interfacing Motors and Sensors with Arduino

Day 4: Obstacle Avoidance Robot
Obstacle detection and avoidance logic
Logic Table creation
Programming the Robot

Line Follower with Obstacle Avoidance.
Day 5: Mobile Controlled Robot
Serial Communication Basics
Bluetooth Module HC-05 connections
Building Remote Controlled Robot
Gesture Controlled Robot (Accelerometer Based).
Day 6: Competition
Robo Soccer and Robo Rally.
Guidance Program:
Kaizen students will be provided guidance to participate in robotics competitions and technical projects. This guidance will be provided through hangout sessions, hangout seminars, in-person meeting, etc. This guidance will be provided for 4 months post intensive training program through our office at IIT Madras Research Park.

Program Fee:
Fee for the program is INR 8500 (inclusive of all taxes) per participant
A student must pay an advance of INR 1500 to confirm the registration and pay the remaining fee on the first day of the program
Payment once done will be non-refundable.
Resources:
A very elaborate kit of components required to build the robot will be provided to a team of 2 students. Necessary resources such as theory booklets, practice handouts, necessary software, online tutorials and other resource materials will be made available to the students.
Certification:
Participants will be certified by Lema Labs and IIT Madras Alumni Association.
