1.Story Telling
Time - 9.30AM
Any story in Tamil or Hindi or English (5 minutes each);separate prizes for each language
Age Group - LKG to 4th Standard
2.Vocal - Carnatic
A) Thyagaraja - Any one kriti of Thyagaraja
B)Muthuswamy Dikshitar - Any one kriti of Muthuswamy Dikshitar
Time - 9.30AM
3.Violin - Carnatic
Any one composition of the Trinity ( Thyagaraja,Muthuswamy Dikshitar, Syama Sastri) in any ragam
Time - 12.30AM
4.Vocal -Bhajans
Any one bhajan of well - known composers (excluding namavalis ) in Tamil, Hindi or Sanskrit
Time - 2.30PM
5.Vocal – Hindustani
Any one song, sung in Hindustani style
Time-3.30PM
Please Note -
1.Participants must bring a list of 3 kritis / bhajans /songs and the judges will select one
2. Same student may participate in more than one category
Age Group - 1st to 10th Standard
6.Recitation- Any poem in Hindi, Tamil, Sanskrit or English; separate prizes for each language
Time - 9.30AM
7.Folk Music-In any Indian language (common prizes)
Time-11AM
Age Group - 1st to 9th Standard
Please Note : Participants must submit a written/ printed copy of the poem & its author; same student may participate in more than one language
8.Drama - Any play in Tamil or Hindi or Sanskrit or English
Time - 4PM
Please Note : Participants must submit a written/printed copy of the synopsis of the play & its author
