Global Art India is organizing the 8th National Competition 'Kolor Champ 2014'. Around 1,300 children in the age group between 5 to 15 years from across India will be participating in the event. Global Art India has earned the unique distinction from the Limca Book of Records for conducting Kolor Champ 2010 - a children's painting competition with participants from most countries. This is featured in the 2012 edition of Limca Book of Records. Global Art students have won laurels at various events organized by various organizations like World Wildlife Fund, Hindustan Unilever Limited, Bombardier, ISteel. About Global Art India Introduced in India by SIP Academy India in 2005, Global Art is a complete, systematic and efficient art programme with the aim of developing the creative potential of children. The Global Art programme is currently being run in 15 countries across the world with over 600 centres and has successfully trained over 2,50,000 children since its inception in Malaysia in 1999. To instill a higher level of artistic appreciation and skill in children, Global Art, Malaysia has done extensive research in the development of the step-by-step art syllabus, which has been a trendsetter in children's enrichment programmes. Global Art India started its first learning centre in Chennai in May 2005 and is currently present in 7 states namely -Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Rajasthan & Tamil Nadu. It has thus far, added colour & enhanced creativity in the lives of over 25,000 children through over 130 learning centres. The Global Art programme is a one-of-its-kind international creative art programme for children between the ages of 5 - 15 years that is designed to optimally use children's inherent love for drawing & colouring to enhance their creativity. The Global Art method of learning is distinctively innovative & enjoyable for children - with a systematic curriculum and a structured syllabus.
